Cooper & Colby pictorially forming kisses and hugs from Montreal!

Hello all!

I’m taking over Cooper’s blog while he and Colby snore (well, Cooper snores, Colby dreams – Sally, I’ve read that Coonhounds do tend to be snorers, it is the most peaceful, and funny, sound! I wonder if Franklin will entertain you with dulcet snores!) nearby… After 10 centimeters of snow we have had 10 milimeters of freezing rain… Beautiful to look at (see pic below and the trees in the back of the house covered in icicles) but treacherous to walk in, especially for Cooper who bravely hopped along… Slowly! I believe it was one of our shortest walks ever…

Now the pups are happily snoozing in the cutest position so I had to share… Bum to bum and in a perfect pictorial of XO, kisses & hugs!

Hugs from the Montreal pack!

  1. Ooooh, brrrrrrr! We love the sno but don’t get much here in Oaktown :). Have you seen these cool boots? They might help Cooper get around in the sno. http://gear.tripawds.com/2014/10/13/winter-dog-boots-weather-is-here/
I tried the ruffwear boots but they rubbed my rear dewclaw raw so I got a Therapaw boot for my rear paw instead and it works great. If Cooper doesn’t have dewclaws the ruffwears are awesome.

Love the picture of Cooper and Colby in their heart pose 🙂

  2. Hello Martha and the Oaktown pack!

Thanks for the great links! Cooper does have a dewclaw so I will definitely be looking into these boots, so appreciated and so timely! We had an ice storm yesterday and it is glare ice outside today! We did not even dare walk our quadripawd Colby much less Cooper so just did a back yard (we carried him out as our deck is frozen solid as are the steps leading down to the yard) potty break!

Boots sound necessary this year if it continues this way!

    Thanks again!

    A.
